Program Objective: To enrich UC Irvine Internal Medicine Residency Experience of Outpatient Primary Care Medicine through partnership with Orange County's Premier Medical Group.

Educational Objective: To Prepare Internal Medicine Third Year Residents for Outpatient Primary Care Medicine practice in Orange County.

Rotation Course Curriculum: Residents will have exposure to not only a diversity of Bristol Park patients, but will have "in the trench" training on medical coding and billing, specialist referral systems, Nextgen Electronic Medical Record, how to navigate through a "maze" of insurance payers, and ultimately learn how to thrive in the "real world complexities" of today's health care delivery system.
